try this: pumpkin delights!

I’m on a pumpkin kick as of late. I’m sure it has something to do with the crisp fall air and all the dreaming of pumpkin pie I’ve been doing. But it’s a benefit to you, because for the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be sharing my FAVORITE pumpkin recipes.

I think we can all appreciate this week’s recipe.

Especially those of us who spend a small fortune at Starbucks on this splendid cup of pumpkin pie.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

What you’ll need:
4 tablespoons of canned pumpkin
4 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg
4 cups of milk
1 cup of strong-brewed coffee
2 tablespoons of vanilla

Combine canned pumpkin, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg over medium heat. Add milk and coffee and stir until hot and steamy, about five minutes.
Next, take the mixture off of the heat and add in the vanilla. Pour the mixture into a blender and blend for about 15 seconds until your latte is nice and frothy.
Pour in mugs, top with some cinnamon whipped cream, and enjoy!

Yield: 4 delicious cups
