Prepare Yourselves

I’m going brunette.

I know, I know. Huge, right? I’ve been blonde since birth, but, as I started getting older my hair started getting a little bit darker so I resorted to highlighting it.

Any Joe knows that highlighting is is severely damaging to the hair. It almost makes it straw-like. Hence, why I’ve decided to do this.

This is only temporary, mind you. I quite enjoy being a blonde and it is only for health’s sake that I’m doing this. I’ve totally been sucked into looking “Laguna”, so as soon as summer roles back around I’ll be back to donning the look of my youth.

Here’s the color/cut I’m thinking about:

Now, I certainly wasn’t blessed with that fabulous wave, but I like the way all the layers just add to the bounciness of her hair.

What dost thou think, oh loyal reader?

Being brunette is fun… you could add a slightly red highlight. That’s very eye-catching. I love being brunette.
